MISS YORKSHIRE RULES AND BINDING CONTRACT
Entrants to Miss Yorkshire Beauty Pageant must be between 17 and 28 on date of annual final.
Entrants must have been born a female.
Entrants must be resident in Yorkshire & Humber Region.
NEW RULE!! Entrants can have been married, but must be divorced and back to a 'Miss'.
Entrants must never have posed naked, worked as a topless model, or have been, or is involved in pornography.
Entrants must never have been, or is involved in prostitution, illicit or illegal activities, or use illegal drugs of any nature.
Entrants must act in a friendly and professional manner at all times, and also with other contestants.
Contestants’ waiver all rights to Miss Yorkshire office for use of their likeness, image, photos, name, for all and no restrictions, for publicity.
The winner of Miss Yorkshire must be available at times for Miss Yorkshire publicity. Where it is possible Miss Yorkshire office will always try and cover travel expenses. If no travel expenses are covered, Miss Yorkshire can decline. If in the event of a charity occasion and no budget, Miss Yorkshire will be reasonable. Please note if Miss Yorkshire declines for a few events, the office reserve the right to ask the runner up to attend.
Top 12 finalists and winner of Miss Yorkshire shall be under the management of the Miss Yorkshire office, and licensees. Other agents are allowed if requested.
Top 12 Finalists (if Miss Yorkshire is a TV show format) must pass all requests and offers of work to the Miss Yorkshire office, especially if being booked because of your local title or Miss Yorkshire involvement.
The winner of Miss Yorkshire shall pass all offers of work, appearances, and interviews through the Miss Yorkshire office with no excuse.
All regional titles and the national title are trademarked and/or the creation and loaned from Wealth Without Illth Ltd to you throughout the year on the understanding that paid work offers are negotiated on your behalf by Wealth Without Illth Ltd.
All rights for the TV finalists and winner of Miss Yorkshire are held in respect of endorsements, engagements, appearances and interviews.
Miss Yorkshire must be available and chosen Top 12 finalists should be available for next year’s final.
Entrants must have photographers consent for use of profile photos.
Entrants’ waiver all rights to photos once uploaded for Miss Yorkshire publicity.
No refunds will be given at any stage.
Entrants cannot hold the Miss Yorkshire office liable for loss of items, ticket sales, earnings or travel expenses.
Miss Yorkshire office request the right to disqualify any contestant deemed to be breaking the rules or deemed troublesome to the Miss Yorkshire brand.
Miss Yorkshire office requests the right to amend, replace and add to the prize list at any time.
Miss Yorkshire office reserves the right to refuse entry to unsuitable candidates.
Entrants must give accurate and truthful information at all times.
Miss Yorkshire office reserves the right to replace any finalist.
Miss Yorkshire office reserves the right to choose and amend suitable and honest judges, and associated celebrities throughout the year.
Miss Yorkshire office will hold heats fairly, honestly and with integrity. Miss Yorkshire office will never fix voting.
Miss Yorkshire office will not be made accountable for any judge’s disingenuous behaviour, but the Miss Yorkshire office will respond correctly, and professionally. Miss Yorkshire office will not tolerate biased judges.
Miss Yorkshire may require semi-finalists, finalists and winner to adhere to a set uniform as set out by Miss Yorkshire office, with at least one months notice.
Winner of Miss Yorkshire will receive a certificate, a cash prize of TBA and other goodies. The official Miss Yorkshire crown is the property of the Miss Yorkshire office but at times maybe loaned to the winner at her expense.
The Miss Yorkshire winner must carry out any related engagements in a professional manner, worthy of the title Miss Yorkshire
Miss Yorkshire office shall not be held liable for any mishaps, fines, accidents, injuries, abuse, or theft that may arise at a semi-final, final, or during the winners reign.
Miss Yorkshire office is able to amend rules, change times or location of any heat, semi-final, or Grand Final.
