Welcome TO MISS YORKSHIRE

MISS YORKSHIRE BEAUTY PAGEANT is an event designed to identify young women in the community who epitomise the key qualities of leadership, talent, motivation and the celebration of beauty, style and fashion. This competition will include participants from Yorkshire and the Humber region and will seek to meet the objectives of:

Community integration and the celebration of diverse beauty from different racial constituents
Providing a forum with access to key target markets within the Yorkshire Region
Networking and exposition opportunity for Key Trade and Business Organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Area
Assist Business organisations in enhancing their CSR and working towards promoting key social and cultural objectives within the wider Yorkshire Community
Developing Entrepreneurship (Turning Job Seekers into Job Creators)

Miss Yorkshire Foundation is a non-profit arm of Miss Yorkshire Beauty Pageant that seeks to undertake the following:

• Educational Scholarship Scheme (Tuition fees)
• Youth Leadership Training & Entrepreneurship Mentoring
• Youth Confidence building and development
• Charitable Fundraising Events The Miss Yorkshire foundation would like to be the largest provider of educational scholarship monies to young women across Yorkshire and Humber Region.

MISS YORKSHIRE TOUR DE YORKSHIRE 2015 PODIUM PRESENTER - NADIA KING

Miss Yorkshire will have the honour of assisting in presenting the jerseys to the first ever winners in the Tour de Yorkshire.
Miss Yorkshire 2014, Nadia King, 19, from Doncaster and runner up, Miss Jordan Frances Coburn, 22, from Leeds, will help present the various jerseys alongside key dignitaries at the finale of each stage on May 1 to 3.

Miss Yorkshire, Nadia, said: "I am honoured to have been asked to help present the jerseys at the Tour de Yorkshire –
it's very exciting for Yorkshire and to be involved in what I think will be the biggest cycle race in the UK, if not beyond. I wish all the riders the best of luck and to enjoy a safe race."

She will be joined on stage by Miss Coburn, Jordan, who added: "I am really looking forward to the race, especially as it finishes in my home city of Leeds which will be extra special. There is a real buzz about the Tour de Yorkshire, so I am thrilled to have been asked to be
involved."
